Participants and Eligibility:

An Advanced Study Institute (ASI) is a high-level teaching activity where a carefully defined subject is treated in depth by lecturers of international standing, and new advances in a subject, not taught elsewhere, are reported in tutorial form. An ASI is aimed at the postdoctoral level scientist, but this should not exclude students who are about to obtain a PhD, and may also include other appropriately-qualified senior scientists.

ASI students should normally come from NATO or Partner or Mediterranean Dialogue countries. Students from Austria, Finland, Ireland, Sweden or Switzerland – known as "non-eligible" Partner countries – may participate,  but they will be responsible for the entire cost of their participation.

The number of participants for this ASI is limited to 80 students. Participation will be only by invitation.

A poster session is reserved for student presentation. The organizers will select the best works for an oral presentation. All students are encourage to submit an abstract for the poster/oral presentation.
